Powder Brows

What is Powder Brows?

I don’t want my brows black. Do you have any other colours?

We stock an extensive palette of brow pigments with colours varying from blonde shades to dark brown. In fact, we never use black for the eyebrow micropigmentation.

How do you know what colour to choose?

The colour is chosen based on your skin type, brow and hair colour and your own preferences. If you are wearing make-up every day and like your brows filled in with pencil or powder, we would go for a darker colour to give your brows make-up look. If you do not wear make-up daily and like more natural and subtle look we would normally go for a lighter colour. As everyone is unique there is no one formula to suit everyone therefore all your preferences are discussed on the day of your appointment or complimentary consultation.

Phibrows

What is Phibrows?

PhiBrows is a manual, semi-permanent technique of hyper-realistic eyebrow drawing in which the shape of eyebrows is calculated according to facial morphology and golden proportion. It is a two steps treatment. Perfection session is needed 4-8 weeks after your initial appointment in order to perfect the look. It is normal to lose about 10-15% of the hair strokes during the healing process. This is fixed at your touch up appointment. The treatment cannot be considered completed if you did not have your touch up done.

How the treatment is done?

Treatment is done by using sterile and disposable manual tool.

Using Phibrows technique we rebuild the brows by creating tiny realistic strokes to give you a beautiful fuller brow. The strokes look like actual hair strands. The hair strokes are placed to follow your natural brow hair growth direction.

What colour will you use on my brows?

The colour is chosen to match your natural brow colour. If the client does not have natural brow hairs, hair colour is used as a guideline for pigment colour choice. In order to achieve the perfect colour match we custom blend pigments for each client. A lot of clients are afraid that they will get black brows- please be assured we never use black on the brows.

What shape will I have?

We do not use stencils. The brow shape is uniquely designed for each client.

The treatment starts with the shape drawing. Usually it takes 30 minutes to complete this step. Once the shape is done the client reviews the shape and necessary tweaks are done to ensure that the client is happy with the shape. We will never proceed with the actual treatment until the artist and the client have approved the shape.

Does it hurt?

It’s not painful but it can be a little bit uncomfortable. It depends on your pain threshold, also ladies tend to be more sensitive when having the period. After the first round of work (10 mins) the anesthetic is applied and the treated area gets numb.

How long do the Phibrows last?

Phibrows last up to 18 months depending on your skin and lifestyle. Regular use of sunbeds, retinol and glycolic acid creams, and some other factors can make your brows fade quicker.

Phibrows myths and misconceptions

We do not implant hairs during the treatment. The manual tool is used to draw hairs which mimic real brow hairs.

The treatment does not change the colour of natural brow hair. For instance, if the brows are grey we cannot make your brow hair grow brown.
